Pahrump's very own Mia Ava East Coast Pizza was recently awarded 2nd Place in the 2025 World Pizza Competition held in Las Vegas! Mia Ava East Coast Pizza competed against over 450 chefs from around the world in the Traditional (New York Pizza) Category finishing at a prestigious 3rd Place.

Mia Ava East Coast moved on to the final five competitors for the Overall Best Pizza Competition and finished 2nd place in the World Championship Final.
Mia Ava Eastcoast Pizza, Pahrump, locally owned and operated, opened in June 2024 was Voted best Pizza Pahrump in December 2024 and now ranked #2 in the World Pizza Championships 2025.

Since its inception in 2007, the International Pizza Challenge™ has evolved and grown in stature and prize money to become the most prestigious pizza-making competition in North America, if not the world. Competitors fly in from all over the world to compete at the Pizza Expo in Las Vegas against the best of the best. This year there was 5 divisions: Traditional, Non-Traditional, Neapolitan/STG, Pan, & World’s Best Cheese Slice, which will be represented in the pizza bake-off that will showcase 445 of the world’s best pizza makers. Each competitor had the opportunity to bake their signature pizza on the spot at Pizza Expo, which will then be presented to a renowned panel of accredited chefs.
